Academic Curriculum

As a kindergarten preparatory preschool, Perfecting Learning Center is dedicated to providing students with the tools necessary for successful entrance into public or private grade school. To help assure this, Perfecting  Learning Center utilizes the Abeka Curriculum for our academic program. Abeka is an age-appropriate curriculum for preschool that takes into consideration the differences in motor skills and cognitive abilities among preschoolers, which is why our curriculum is broken up into 2-year-old, 3-year-old, K4, K5 programs. With Abeka, they’ll experience early success at realistic learning milestones.

 

Perfecting Learning Center utilizes age appropriate, education-based curricula designed to promote each child's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development. During the school year, the curriculum emphasizes more structured academics, where more recreation and socialization activities are emphasized during the summer months. Monthly academic units are established and divided into specific weekly thematic classroom activities and projects.
